Okay, am saddened/disappointed/frustrated…
Was waiting for Zune release and it finally happened two days back. As expected Microsoft has released the product for US only. I think it should be available in EU sometime soon. But considering the fact that MS has only recently (a week back) released Xbox 360 in India, I guess it would be safe to assume that Zune will hit the shelves only by late 2007.
I was expecting some online retailers to have Zune and accept international orders. So first stop was amazon.com, sure they have Zune (and in stock too) but ship only to US. Same was the story with rest of the retailers found through froogle.
Does anyone know of a store that will ship to India? And does anyone know why MS releases products in India so very many months (if not years) after they are available to the rest of the world?

Hemingway once wrote a story in just six words (”For sale: baby shoes, never worn.”) and is said to have called it his best work. So Wired Magazine asked sci-fi, fantasy, and horror writers from the realms of books, TV, movies, and games to take a shot themselves. The Very Short Stories (six words or less to be precise) can be found here.
My Favorite six word stories:
Sum of all fears: AND patented.
Lie detector eyeglasses perfected: Civilization collapses.

A few weeks ago, volunteers from Manav Sena Trust, an NGO, approached Shanta, a beggar in Mulund, and offered her an opportunity to make a living as a maid.
At first, Shanta, who sits near a temple on Station Road, jumped at the offer. But days later when she checked in at Sudha Enterprises, her would-be employers, she changed her mind. Why? The money was just not good enough!
“They told me I would work at a good household. But when I learnt I would get only Rs 500 a month, I decided not to go, as I make Rs 300-Rs 400 a day begging,†said Shanta, who has since returned to her old spot on Station Road.
