Addressing the National Executive Committee meeting of the party in the capital, BJP President Rajnath Singh said that the BJP supported the constitutional amendment to provide reservation but has asked the UPA to ensure that merit does not get squeezed once the quota regime gets implemented.
Is this supposed to be some kind of a joke?
The BJP is trying to say that implement reservation but don’t deny the deserving… Does it not understand that reserve and deserve can’t go together? Or is it just an attempt to be pro and anti reservation at the same time?
