Silent Camera for Motorola A780

Motorola A780 is a good phone with a reasonably good camera. The only problem is that it makes a click sound when you take a snap, and there is no easy way to disable this.

Hmm… That was till tungsten came up with the solution CameraNS (found here). I have been playing with it and the one feature I wanted was the ability to one-touch restore the click sound. So here is my contribution SilentCamera.

Have a look at the readme in the attached rar file to figure out how to use it.

The camera (still and video) used \ezxlocal\download\appwrite\setup\ezx_camera.cfg for configuration. shutterSound = n is the line that controls what sound will be made, when you change it to a value like 9, it fails to play the sound but takes the pictures or video anyway.

For those who would like to know more, take a look at the shell (bash) script (it has a .lin extension).
