Thanks to ganu for pointing this out in his post and the pictures.

Karnataka Judge’s car parked in Brigade Road - Bangalore.
If he can park in the no parking area, then y can’t I do..?????????
Looks like law and order don’t apply to the judiciary system…

I personally am of the belief that traffic rules should apply to all vehicles (I am okay with exemptions for ambulances, but not for official cars). And it’s kind of interesting to note that we seem to have a different set of laws for those who wield some power (executive, legislature, judiciary) and another set for the normal folks like you and me…

Thanks to the picture of this car belonging to the Judge of Karnataka High Court parked where you and I can’t, we now know that some people are above traffic laws. Bangalore traffic is a power game where those who interpret the laws are not bound by them.

Not only does the Judge not follow rules, he has poor judgement of a good night out. Dosa sagar? Ugh.

  2. Apun Ka Desh Apun Ka Desh Says:

Its more than likely that Judge didnt even knew about it, and the driver himslef or his excellency’s madam was making hay when the sun shines !

But thats not just the point - what prevented Traffic Police Inspectors from taking note of this? After all there is heavy presence of these men in uniform there?

On a related note - traffic policemen simply stop their work - and start saluting at any official looking car on the road..

But oh well.. its not their fault .. ‘the system’.

  3. Sajith M Sajith M Says:

Apun, agree with you. The guy for whom the car is provided probably did not even know about it. That said, there is a heavy presense of traffic personnels there and it would not have been possible to park there had it not been for the official badge.
Slim, dosa is not my idea of a good night out, but hey some people might like it :-)

Aaa Judge raathri hothu sarkari gaadi alle raathri hothinalli Brigade rasthe nalli yenu madithida. Nee Insider aagi idhara bagge swalpa yochisu

Translation : Yo Solid, where are you from. Are common citizens the only ones who should follow law. The law of the land is same for all. If Sajith pointed this out, you ask him to go away

By the way, why was the Judge using his official car for a night out at Brigade road. Think about it
